slow breakfastinsufficient soundproofing
I felt let down by a few aspects of my stay. the breakfast service felt slow, especially considering I was eager to start my day exploring the area (I really wanted to go on a hike!). I waited quite a while for my order to be taken, and then even longer for the food to arrive. the room lacked sufficient soundproofing, because I could hear noise from neighboring rooms and the hallway, which disrupted my sleep a bit.

the staff were very attentive and helpful throughout my stay. the reception team. the hotel had great facilities and comfy rooms with lovely little touches. the location was superb just up a hill from the main town.
some treatments are only part of a day spa package. i was unable to access them as a hotel guest.

the reception team greeted guests with a smile and seemed genuinely caring. karen, ellie, hollie, maya, cheryl, charlotte and abi provided professional and friendly service. nothing looked too much trouble for them.
